Technical Insulation Performance Check
TIPCHECK is a standardised thermal energy audit developed by the European Industrial Insulation Foundation (EiiF). It quantifies the heat loss of uninsulated, damaged or under-performing insulation systems on valves, flanges, pipes, tanks and equipment — and turns the result into a clear business case.
The audit is fully product- and supplier-neutral: the customer receives an independent evaluation, with concrete savings, payback and CO₂ figures. This makes it accepted as a basis for both internal investment decisions and EEOS (energy efficiency obligation scheme) accounting.
